The Utah State Fair

Chad, Kade and Andy headed inside. All of Andy's friends are so sweet with Kadence. She just loves every opportunity she gets to hang out with them. Chad kept teasing Kadence that she was his date that night and she would get so embarrassed. It was adorable.

We all went on the big yellow slide at the fair. Of course Kadence and I were a lot faster than Andy. He had the camera and took this photo in action. SO much fun!

All of the guys were playing games and winning prizes for Kadence. The truck was loaded with stuffed animals on the way home that. They made great pillows. Probably the most expensive stuffed animals that Kadence has ever owned. Her smiles were worth every penny.

It was a perfect night with my two favorite people in the world!!!!

Summer Fun...Boating, Ballgames and a few Concerts!

Now that Summer has come to an end I just wanted to post some pictures of the things we have been doing. It has just flown by but I think back and I can't believe that we have crammed so much into three months. So I hope you all enjoy these...

We love going to watch the Salt Lake Bees. They also have the best firework show around!

Kadence was glued to the fireworks. She had no idea we were taking pictures of her.

I can't forget all the ball games we sat through. Andy's team, Ace's Spray, included his Dad and brothers so it was always a great time with the family. I also met some great friends sitting at the ballpark every week so I am not complaining. Kadence also has a blast at the games. She runs around and plays tirelessly.

We have been huge concert goers this summer. This one was a free concert at The Gallivan Center.

Once again at a ballgame...This is Ana, Kadence and Erica at one of our many ballgames.
Such sweeties! (at least in pictures)

Really?
There are no words. It's a good thing Marc likes Kade because otherwise he really might strangle her!

Kenny Chesney was so much fun! We had great seats and of course the music was awesome.

Love him!

They all looked so cute in there uniforms. I could just eat Andy up!

They ended up taking 2nd place in the Carl Hansen Tournament in Salt Lake. This game was not as much fun because it decided to pour on us!

Yuba Lake was incredible! The weather was amazing and so was the company. Kadence loves being there and she makes the lake so much fun. I love her adventurous personality and she is not afraid to try anything.

After a long day on the lake there is nothing like a little rest and relaxation. Andy had bags like you wouldn't believe so I cured the problem. What a cute little thing he is!

BEST FRIENDS!!!!

Once again here we are at a concert. Sugarland was soooo fun! Better than I expected!

This photo says is it all! Andy is not afraid to show a little skin and have some fun. Def Lepard was the best. Ya gotta love the shorts...

This was just the tip of the ice berg. There was so much more. I cannot wait for next summer and all that it has to bring!

What a beautiful summer!

My big first grader!

This year Kadence started 1st grade and I just can't believe she is that old. That means I am that old! She is so smart and extremely social. You might guess that her favorite part about school is recess and riding the bus with her friends.  My favorite part is that she is is learning so quickly and Andy will do homework with her everyday. Believe me when I say that is the best option for everyone. If I do it with her we are about to rip each other's heads off by the time we finish! It's scary how much alike we are. Not that I can say it's a bad thing though. Ha!
I am so proud of her and even more proud to be her Mama! I love you pretty girl!

This might be one of my favorite pictures. Andy is so unbelievably sweet with her!

I wish the sun wasn't in her eyes but oh my is she a poser!

The Hadfield's???

So you all know I have not yet become a "real" Hadfield but I sat here and wondered what to title this new blog. I was having a lack of ideas and finally Andy said "Just put our name on it." I looked at him and thought okay really? I had to say something in response and of course I had to give him some crap so I said "I can't because you won't marry me." I laughed but he didn't find it as amusing as I did. Obviously I put that as the title because hopefully before too much longer I will be a "real" Hadfield. I can't wait for that day! Andy has been such a blessing to Kadence and me both. He is such a hard worker and a great example to me. I can't even put into words what he means to me and I can't wait to be his wife.

So yes...The Hadfield's it is!
